A recursive tribute

My first entry is a tribute to my favorite jazz trumpeter. I have zbrush since the last two weeks, more or less, and this is my first sculpt done from the start to the end using this fantastic software. 
My original idea was to  sculpt a cyborg (I am a huge fan of sci-fi), after Rick Deckard but finally the chosen one was Miles Davids. Really I don't understand how my brain works, but this is the magic thing of zbrush, you never knows what you are going to sculpt, since it is so easy to do what your imagination is wondering ;)

My first concept of the model

As you may recognize the concept is highly influenced by  cover of the  A Tribute to Jack Johnson album, this was one of the finest electric work of Miles and the image is a great representation of Miles spirit. Since it is always interesting to see it, I post also some intermediate pictures of the model:
